Medicines Transparency Alliance

First stakeholder meeting, 18 April 2007

The Right Honourable Hilary Benn MP (UK Secretary of State for International Development) will host the first stakeholder meeting of the Medicines Transparency Alliance (MeTA) on 18th April 2007.

The purpose of the meeting is to bring together senior stakeholders to discuss MeTA . The meeting will look at best practice in transparency and accountability, update participants on progress with MeTA, provide an opportunity to look at the pilots planned from May onwards, and will help to lay the foundations for a MeTA Forum of key stakeholders.
